I Survived Snowmageddon

And with flying colors. I've never had so much fun in the snow, but now it's starting to get a bit ridiculous. The roads are still not completely cleared, and the traffic (oh, the traffic) is worse than LA. Imagine the 405 near the 10 freeway Friday at 5pm, and multiply that by a factor of 2-4. Luckily I left the minivan (which is still up for grabs!) at home.

Big week/weekend. Finished up a hefty day of running back and forth from the FCC building to the capitol (about 1 mile apart from each other), dropping off legislative mail. A bit ridiculous, especially when you get lost in the underground mess of tunnels. Thursday - a big tour of Library of Congress, which I hear is unreal. Friday - aside from hopefully catching Leo in Shutter Island, I will attend a private "study room" showing at the National Gallery of Art. Get to see how they store/study art that's not on display. Pretty amped on that.

My time in D.C. may be winding down (?), but 1 thing is for sure - it's going out w/ a bang. Jeff & Zach, my SAS guys, I look forward to your arrival.

And finally - GO U.S.A. ! Bring home the golds.
